The muzzle of a black fox, made up in red, purple, and gold. Its name is Kurogane (鉄) — iron. How could this grudge go unavenged? — it was designed with a brooding, vengeful spirit-fox in mind, the shadowy counterpart to the white trickster Shirogane, which is also available in our store.
Covering only the mouth and jaw, it leaves your vision completely unobstructed — though speech is somewhat muffled while worn.

Habutae-bari: 12 layers laminated entirely by hand with rice paste and left unprimed, so the design is painted directly onto the warm, softly textured surface. Far lighter than the standard construction — a real advantage for a mask worn on the face — though the thinner build calls for gentler handling.

Authorized Komendo retailer — officially sourced from the maker, never resale. As an authorized retailer, we order your mask directly from Komendo. We place orders with the maker once a week, and your mask usually ships from our Tokyo shop within 1–2 weeks, followed by international shipping. In the rare case the maker has no stock available, we will cancel your order and issue a full refund in our weekend processing. Orders with multiple items ship together once everything is ready.
