Wisteria has bloomed in Japan since antiquity, and its purple has never stopped enchanting people. Fujishigure (藤紫雨) — wisteria-purple rain — drapes cascades of wisteria from the ears down across the cheeks, like flowers falling in a soft rain. Designed for Komendo by W.Mushoku, answering a single brief: a fox mask that captivates in purple. This is the full-face version of the design; a half-mask version is also available in our store.

Habutae-bari: 12 layers laminated entirely by hand with rice paste and left unprimed, so the wisteria is painted directly onto the warm, softly textured surface. Far lighter than the standard construction, though the thinner build calls for gentler handling.
Worn resting on the forehead and chin, with the lower edge sitting on the jawline.

Authorized Komendo retailer — officially sourced from the maker, never resale. As an authorized retailer, we order your mask directly from Komendo. We place orders with the maker once a week, and your mask usually ships from our Tokyo shop within 1–2 weeks, followed by international shipping. In the rare case the maker has no stock available, we will cancel your order and issue a full refund in our weekend processing. Orders with multiple items ship together once everything is ready.
