What makes the Popular Edition different?
The difference is in the eyes — the part of a face that most defines its impression. In the standard That Face line, specially crafted artificial eyes are fitted into each mask, which is what makes the standard line more expensive. The Popular Edition reproduces the eyes in print instead, keeping the same hyper-realistic face at a more accessible price.

About Anokao
"Anokao" ("That Face") is an art project that reproduces and sells the faces of real people. Each mask is created from the likeness of an actual individual and is produced specifically for each order.
Important Notice
Wearing a mask restricts your field of vision and can make breathing feel more difficult. In a sense, this mask embraces inconvenience. We invite you to experience and enjoy the unusual sensations and limitations that come with wearing another person’s face.

This mask is modeled on a real person. Purchasers are free to use the mask at their own discretion. However, we ask that it be used with an understanding of its unique nature: it represents an actual individual and carries traces of that person’s identity. Please treat the mask with respect and avoid using it in ways that would harm or demean the person it represents.
